ABOUT NOVARIS GAMING ASSURANCE
NGA exercises oversight of certified operators through binding certification agreements, participating platform and supplier relationships, technical access controls, continuing audit rights and a live public register.
THE SOURCE OF NGA ASSURANCE
An NGA Assurance Certificate records conformity with the published NGA Standard within the declared operator, platform, supplier and domain scope. The operator accepts record-production duties, technical testing, complaint cooperation, corrective action and enforceable certification-status decisions.
Where certification is required within a participating platform or supplier relationship, suspension or withdrawal can also affect continued access under that agreement. The live register and domain-bound marks change immediately with the recorded status.
LEGAL AND OPERATING IDENTITY
Novaris Gaming Assurance is operated by Novaris Digital Solutions Limitada in Costa Rica. This entity administers the NGA certification programme, public register, integrity monitoring and player-recourse system.
WHAT NGA CAN DO
Every control below is tied to the certification agreement, technical scope and published decision record.
Approve only applicants that pass ownership, financial, technical, game-integrity, AML, responsible-gaming and player-protection review.
Require records, reproduce player journeys and run scheduled, complaint-led, risk-triggered or unannounced production checks.
Open a financial-conduct audit, preserve transactions, require an accountable response and impose corrective or protective measures.
Invalidate a mark, restrict scope, refuse renewal or terminate certified status when its conditions are no longer true.
Issue an evidence-led integrity notice after technical review and a fair opportunity for the affected operator to respond.
Send documented evidence to relevant providers, aggregators, payment or critical suppliers, and competent public authorities where lawful and appropriate.
COUNTERFEIT-GAME RULE
NGA-certified operators may not offer cloned, unauthorised, altered or falsely attributed games. A verified material breach triggers protective status action; the domain cannot continue to rely on an active green NGA mark while the breach remains established and unresolved. Provider or supplier notification and a public integrity notice may follow the evidence record.
PLAYER-FUNDS RULE
Unexplained or systemic non-payment, deficient player-funds records, false settlement information or obstruction of a complaint can trigger a financial-conduct audit. NGA may require transaction records, payment-provider evidence, liability reconciliation, remediation and player communication, then impose conditions, suspension, certification withdrawal or public notice according to the verified result.
CROSS-BORDER OVERSIGHT
NGA applies its assurance standard across the certified operator, platform, supplier and domain scope. Each material case is mapped across the operator, affected player, game supplier, payment route and evidence location so that technical and financial findings can be assessed in their proper jurisdictional context.
Where the evidence threshold is met, NGA may submit a documented referral to the appropriate gaming regulator, consumer authority, financial-intelligence or law-enforcement body, and to the relevant provider, aggregator, payment partner or critical supplier. Every referral is evidence-led and recorded.
PUBLIC RELIANCE
The certificate identifies the legal holder, primary domain, authorised aliases, certification class, dates and current status.
The integrity result has a check date and validity window. Expired or failed assurance cannot remain green.
A complaint receipt is not a finding. Public conclusions follow preserved evidence, defined controls and an accountable decision.
